I understand that having someone help with your business is scary, especially if it is a website. However, you are making the right decision by hiring a professional to make your site easy to use, look “pretty,” market your strengths, and drive visitor behaviors to grow your business. Plus, I’ll be here to guide you every step of the way.

This investment is essential to your business. I will do everything possible to bring your vision to life and set your company up for success.

What to expect when we work together

1: Contact Propel for a Proposal

Set up a 30-minute call to discuss your project needs.
2: Contract, Deposit, and Web Content Form

After you accept the proposal:
1. Sign the online contract
2. Receive the online invoice and pay the deposit to secure your start date.
3. After your start date is confirmed, you'll receive a Welcome Kit with project steps and a Web Content Form to complete before your start date.
3: Google Shared File

I will share a Google Drive folder for you to upload your logo, images, and any other important files you would like to use on your website.
4: Three Weeks of Design

We video chat on Monday or Tuesday of the first week to align our ideas and style.
The following two Thursdays or Fridays will be our website reviews.
5: Final Payment and Publishing

After our last review, you will receive the remaining invoice, and I will make the necessary edits.
Please note that your website will not go "live" until I receive full payment.
6. SEO Week & Training

After your final payment, I'll spend the fourth week setting up your SEO. Setup involves adding your site to Google Search Console, connecting Google Analytics, setting up a Google Business Profile, adding descriptions to all images and every web page.
After our project, you can schedule a one-hour live training session with me within the next six months. I also offer all clients access to my video training library, which will help with your future edits. If you do not want to bother with edits, no worries! I provide maintenance packages based on hourly as-needed work or as a monthly retainer.

Propel’s Website Platform

From my experience, Squarespace is the most flexible, user-friendly, secure website builder and hosting platform. I have found that WordPress is too complicated and frustrating for my clients to make any future updates (no matter how simple the update), and Wix does not allow me the freedom to code and customize like Squarespace.

Squarespace allows unlimited customization and coding for my design needs, yet can be as simple as a drag and drop if a client wants to edit/add images and text. Squarespace also provides mobile optimization and top-level security with SSL and reCaptcha options free with every website, easy integration with POS platforms, email marketing, form submission storage, scheduling software, integration with Etsy and Shopify, and more!

As for maintenance, business owners who want the freedom to maintain their website with basic edits and updates after it’s developed will have access to my extensive training video library. Plus, clients can contact me one month or three years after their project for an hourly or monthly maintenance retainer quote for website updates.
